- Describe your position/departments involvement during a students life cycle?
- Hi my name is Sandy Mcfarland. I am a Master Admissions Rep with SDI. We are responsible for engaging with new leads at the very beginning. We call them to conduct an interview to find out more about their passion, what they're looking for and then we proceed to detail the different programs that we offer, start dates, funding methods and tuition. After they, after we assist them in the enrollment process, filling out the application, we then engage them with the next step into the funding department. We work with our financial advisors whether it be for Title IV, VA, TA, cash pay students to ensure that they successfully make it through the funding process. After that we oversee the Student Success Coaches doing the welcome calls which is essentially them walking them to class, explaining to them how to get into the online portal, how to find their assignments, engaging with their instructors, everything they need to know in order to get them to their start date and be successful in school. And then one of the final steps that we manage is assisting them with the transcript submittal process. We help them whether sending links and supply, support them in ensuring that all official transcripts are sent to SDI. So we are here to support the new leads and program information, helping them enroll successfully, getting them packaged in funding, getting them prepared for their start date, getting all the necessary documentation in and making sure that they have a good student experience.

- Hello. My name is Desiree Quenan. I'm a VA. Certifying Official with the Students Finance department. After students enrollment is completed with admissions, the file is sent over to the finance department. Depending on the funding type, it will be assigned to the specific Financial Advisor. With the exception of Vocational Rehabilitation and VA state funding all via funding for my grad team will be sent to me. I specialize in the Post 911 G.I. Bill, which is also known as Chapter 33, the Montgomery G.I. Bill, also known as chapter 30. And there are two other rare types 1606 and 35. Some VA funding is sent directly to the school while other funding type is sent to the student. at that point there will be a payment plan set up. After the funding is completed, it is sent over to the Student Success Coach. But until the student graduates, we will continue to assist them with financial questions they might have. Thank you.

- My name is Julie LoJudice, and I currently work in the Student Services office as a Student Success Coach. As a Student Success Coach, I get to guide the student throughout their educational journey. From the very beginning, I get to work with Admissions, Finance and the Registrar's office to make sure our students are prepared to start school. During their educational journey, I also make sure that they stay on track for graduation. I also help them out if they face any challenges that might interfere with their graduation. The best part of being a Student Success Coach is that I get to work with students from the very beginning until their graduation day.

- Greetings! My name is Sam Field. I am Military and Veteran Services Specialist working in the Department of Military and Veterans Services. My favorite thing working here at SDI are the continuous interactions I get to have with our military community, whether it is providing information about our programs, finding resources or aiding in their transition into higher education. You know, I really find enjoyment in helping them in achieving their educational goals.
- Describe your position/departments involvement during a students life cycle?
- My name is Linzy Peterson. I am in the Registrar department as the Academic Scheduling Specialist. As the Academic Scheduling Specialist. I maintain the students schedule to ensure that there are no gaps, that the schedule is at the rate of pursuit of the student, whether that be part time or full time. I also make schedule adjustments for students who are beginning with us, already attending or soon to graduate. This can involve students with the statuses of attending, re-enroll, reentry, pending graduate, it's a mix of things. The importance of the Registrar department is that we ensure the academic integrity of the student record from the very start, when the application is submitted to the very end, when they are ready to graduate. We maintain the record to ensure that it follows all our policies, that all documents are up to date and that all the academic requirements are met so that a student can successfully graduate and be on their way.
