- Hi, I'm Mark Saldana Food Service sales manager with Torn Gel and I'm here to present our new 16 ounce non-stick cooking spray. The unique aspect that makes this product groundbreaking in the food service industry is the fact that it's propellant free. Traditional aerosol sprays will have a propellant mixed in with the oil which is the mechanism to force the oil out of the can we use what is called bag on valve technology. So this bag inside the can is what's hold in the oil and then filled with compressed air around it. So when you press the nozzle, the compressed air is squeezing the oil out of the bag. So there's no need for propellants while this technology exists in home consumer size products. There hasn't been a larger Foodsaver size option until now. The 16 ounce size is the largest bag on valve spray available and you can only get it from La Torn Gel.
