• Hi, I'm Vincent Mone. I'm the product owner here at Smart Inspect and I work with our in-house software team as well as with our customers to help cove cutting edge new software solutions in the cleaning industry. And we're just so, so excited to be nominated for this year's iss a innovation award and thanks for having us.
• What makes your product innovative?
• Smart inspects simple technology. As the first of its kind giving the power of machine learning, artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to cleaning industry professionals. This technology will make cleaning programs more proactive, safe and environmentally friendly as it analyzes past inspection data to predict future mistakes before they happen. Cleaning industry professionals can use this information to help train staff correct deficiencies or fix risky situations before it's too late. Simple benchmarks, your quality scores and inspections against your peers using smart inspects 20 plus years of anonymous quality inspection data, millions of records that are industry specific simple compares your results with others in your industry to help you know where you stand and helps you continuously improve by making data driven decisions.
• Does your innovative product entry have any unique sustainable elements?
• Smart inspect is used by organizations worldwide to improve their sustainability practices and minimize environmental impacts. Our inspection app is a digital mobile platform that helps organizations eliminate paper waste by moving to 100% paperless solution. Some key sustainability elements include configurations to audit for environmentally friendly chemicals equipment, consumable products, janitor closet configurations, safety, low moisture cleaning methods, micro fiber usage and much much more smart inspects. Revolutionary simple technology will help cleaning organizations take sustainability to the next level helping to predict possible lapses in compliance before they happen. Simple allows you to use data driven decisions to focus on what matters most and helps eliminate wasted time and energy.

• Smart inspect has helped hundreds of facilities become lead certified and green cleaning in the last 20 years. In 2009, smart inspect helped the FBI Chicago building become the first ever lead platinum facility by designing and implementing their green cleaning and inspection program. Contributing to three credits toward their certification with the introduction of simple organizations can now utilize their inspection data to help predict potential issues that may impact the environment before they ever happen.
• What training is in place to protect the health and safety of the worker using this product and/or service?
• Every smart inspector user is trained by one of our own team members how to perform a cleaning inspection. We teach the inspectors how to look for safety and sustainability deficiencies or risks helping them and their entire team proactively avoid dangerous or costly mistakes. Additionally, we teach inspectors how long and detailed their inspection walks should be balancing data collection needs with the ergonomic and safety risks of staring too long at a device screen.
