- Introduce yourself, your role and your involvement with your product.
- Hey, everyone. I'm Mike Perazzo. I'm the Executive Vice President of Sales here at KY. I wanna welcome you into our innovation studio. I played a big role in the launch of the all floor from a design perspective to end user testing and some of the infield work really excited to get this innovation out into the marketplace to create a new category of cleaning.
- What is your product?
- The all floor is a single platform that allows the worker to clean large areas of both hard surface and soft surfaces all on the same operating system. So this is about efficiency, cleanliness and the ability to move from different services all on a single platform.
- What makes your product innovative?
- What makes this product unique. It's the first of its kind that has the ability to move from both hard and soft service. Our innovative design using our aqua scrubber, meaning water is our filter allows us to virtually go after any type of cleaning soil, whether it's dry or wet on both hard surface and soft surface with the worker never having to stop and switch machines. It's continuous on this single platform machine.
- Does your innovative product entry have any unique sustainable elements?
- When it comes to sustainability, it's not only sustainable and easy for the worker, it also has an environmental impact. So we wanna think about how do we empower the worker to get more cleaning done in less time, use less water and less chemical while driving results all throughout the facility on one easy to use platform.
- Quantify the environmental impact benefit of your product in the marketplace.
- From an environmental impact standpoint, there's a lot of things that we can do. First of all, the all floor was designed off of our auto VC system, which was one of the greenest pieces of equipment in the market. We already talked about using less water in chemistry. But by combining our technologies onto this single platform, we're giving the market the ability to move away from single purpose machines and more sustainably manage one multi purpose piece of equipment.
- What training is in place to protect the health and safety of the worker using this product and/or service?
- When we talk about training to protect the worker, there's a variety of ways that we're providing training. One is here in the studio two. We have a learning app. We also have tablets that are available on our machines. But our goal is to always place that worker in an ergonomic position. We wanna reduce competitive motion and minimize their contact with contamination. The all floor machine puts the worker in the best physical position to do an amazing job on both hard service and carpet and anything that they want to clean.
- Product Wrap Up...
- We're so excited to be celebrating 25 years of history with the ISS A show and this year will be no different as we launch the All Floor. This is a one of a kind new category in cleaning. We can't wait for you to come see us at the booth. And if you miss us, find us out on their website, give us a call. We cannot wait to share this new innovation for the rest of the cleaning world.
